- When can Arcimedia start a job and how long will it take?

Arcimedia strive for high standards at all times. We aim to respond to all online quote requests within 24 hours. Most small to medium jobs will be started within a week, with larger projects within a month.
We can design and build a website in the following approximate timescales:
- Basic – 1 week
- Standard – 1 month
- Professional – 2-3 months
- How much deposit is required before work is carried out?

Arcimedia ask for an initial deposit of 25% to protect all parties involved.
- Do Arcimedia offer full customer support?

We will endeavour to give our best service throughout the project and afterwards. Any technical issues or errors on our part will be dealt with free of charge immediately. Any changes to the original requirements will require extra cost.
Arcimedia will give help and advice where they can, up to a reasonable amount.
- What is our experience?

Between us, our university education has a mixture of Mathematics, Computing, Fine Arts and Philosophy. Since then we have been working with IT systems, web technologies, marketing and communication for a number of years.
Our technical skills include HMTL, CSS, PHP, JQuery, Flash, Actionscript, XML, JSON, MySQL, W3C standards, cross-browser compatibility, SEO and many more.
Creatively, as well as the numerous web sites and applications we've produced, our personal projects include designing and creating posters, videos, music, paintings, sculpture and photography.
- What kinds of payment do we accept?

We can be paid by direct BACS payment, PAYPAL, or cheque.
- How many designs do we create for our clients?

If we create a website for you, we will provide you with several templates based on your initial design specifications. From there, we will work with you to produce the site that you want. Our aim is to provide the best product for you or your business.

We are happy to have face-to-face meetings, online audio/video calls, and of course landline calls and email.

- What is a Content Management System?

Content management systems are a very common part of most medium to large websites. They provide the customer with an easy way to update page content (text, images, links etc) without the help of a professional web developer.

Arcimedia offer two types of web-based content management systems:
- Page text editor – this is a simple system whereby you can edit the text on any existing page. Simply login and press the edit button to start changing the copy. Suitable for small businesses.
- Full CMS – this is a more advanced system, allowing you to create new pages, upload images and customise the look of the page, as well as editing the copy. We can build this to your exact specification. Suitable for medium to large businesses.
